One-Piece or Two-Piece Wetsuit? Write the Garment Order as Separate Lines

A photograph of a person in a complete wetsuit can hide an ordering decision: is the garment one continuous item, a complete two-piece package, or a jacket and trousers sold separately? Resolve that before comparing prices or sending a size request for snorkeling equipment.

Identify the actual garment structure

Cressi Spain’s Tracina description distinguishes a jacket and high-waisted trousers. Cressi USA’s Morea Man page describes a hoodless one-piece with long sleeves and legs. These are examples of garment structures, not interchangeable packages or recommendations that either model suits every snorkeler.

For a two-piece offer, ask whether both garments are included in the displayed price and obtain a code for each supplied item. A family photograph does not establish the contents of the selected variant. Equally, a one-piece suit may be shown with separately purchased accessories.

Build an order sheet with separate rows

Questions before accepting a garment offer
Item Details to confirm
Jacket or upper garment Exact code, size, thickness and whether it is included.
Trousers, long john or lower garment Exact cut, code, size and stated relationship to the upper garment.
Complete configuration Manufacturer-supported combination and its fitting instructions.
Exchange or replacement Whether an individual garment can be ordered or exchanged separately.

Write trousers and long john as different descriptions when the manufacturer does. Do not silently substitute one merely because both have long legs. Ask the seller to identify the version in the quote and supply the relevant diagram or product description.

Check the combination rather than adding labels

If the maker supports different upper and lower sizes, ask how to assess that complete combination. Do not assume separate sales automatically permit every size pairing or cross-brand mix. Record the manufacturer’s answer instead of treating similar color or thickness as compatibility evidence.

Where garments overlap, do not add their nominal thicknesses and call the result a whole-body thermal rating. Coverage and fit still need to be assessed for the actual activity by an appropriate qualified provider. This guide gives no individual exposure limit, donning method or modification instruction.

Request a complete written configuration

Use the TRIMIX buying guide and ask about actual suit availability and the individual garment codes. Include the complete configuration you want clarified. These Cressi descriptions explain the ordering question; they do not confirm TRIMIX stock, a supported mixed-size combination or a tested fit.
