A waterjet label and a guarded propeller describe different physical arrangements. Before comparing them as SUP purchases, ask the seller to identify the water-moving components, protected openings and supported maintenance access. The name alone does not rank the systems for safety, efficiency, debris resistance or suitability for your board.
Two documented product descriptions
SipaBoards describes the Allrounder Silver Electric as a board with an integrated waterjet motor. Its propulsion unit is part of a particular board design. Treat that as a complete-system architecture, not as evidence that an accessory will fit an existing fin box.
Boost Surfing’s Quick Start Guide separately identifies a propeller guard supplied for its fin. The existence of a guard matters to the supported assembly: do not compare the advertised fin with a photograph in which a required component is absent. This guide does not reproduce installation steps or authorize operation without the maker’s required protection.
Ask for a labelled diagram
For either design, a useful diagram should make the water inlet, outlet, moving parts and required protective components identifiable. Ask which parts are accessible to the owner and which require the manufacturer or an authorized service provider. A sales image can hide these details, especially when the drive is inside the board.
| Comparison item | Question for the exact model |
|---|---|
| Protected openings | Which covers, meshes or guards must be present in the approved configuration? |
| Access | Which documented checks can an owner perform, and when is service required? |
| Replacement parts | What are the named protective-part codes for this hardware revision? |
| Installation | Is the drive designed into the supplied hull or fitted through a supported external mount? |
Leave performance claims in their own column
A waterjet description does not mean that no rotating part exists inside the system. A propeller guard does not mean that contact, entanglement or other hazards disappear. Ask for the manufacturer’s actual warnings rather than using either label as a safety shortcut. Keep people, operating conditions and equipment handling within the applicable instructions.
If a listing claims lower drag, quieter operation or better performance, request the specific configuration and test conditions supporting that claim. Do not infer those outcomes from the appearance of an opening or guard. For a purchasing comparison, it is enough to record a documented architecture and an unresolved evidence request; a buyer does not need to invent a winner.
Ask about your actual setup
Use the TRIMIX SUP compatibility checklist for the separate fitment questions. To ask about actual SUP thruster supply and documentation, provide your board, fin-box, motor and adapter models, your country and the question raised here. No SUP motor is currently listed in the public TRIMIX catalog. A support inquiry does not establish availability, compatibility or an order, and it does not automatically send an email.
Evidence and date notes
Evergreen equipment guide checked November 3, 2026. SipaBoards Allrounder Silver Electric product description: undated; exact publication day not shown | Boost Surfing Quick Start Guide: 2025-11-25. These are current source checks, not new-launch or popularity claims. Manufacturer descriptions are attributed. No TRIMIX hands-on test, stock, universal compatibility or performance guarantee is claimed.
