A spare propeller, a fine guard and a maintenance kit solve different purchasing questions. Before adding one to a SUP propulsion order, establish which part has been specified for the exact motor and what the package contains. A broad motor-family name or an accessory photograph can obscure that distinction.
Identify the component being offered
The Bixpy PowerShroud replacement-propeller page names J-1, J-2 and K-1 compatibility and lists a propeller, pin and nut. This is a maker’s statement about that particular spare, not evidence that every guard, bumper or service kit shares the same compatibility.
The separate Motor Kare Kit page offers motor-version options and lists several different items. It identifies the additional bumper specifically with the K-1 kit. A replacement order should therefore identify the selected kit option as well as the general product title. Do not transfer a contents list between versions because the main photograph looks familiar.
Read a guard’s tradeoff alongside its purpose
The same kit description presents its fine grill for debris-prone water and acknowledges a possible reduction in output at higher speeds. That is the manufacturer’s qualified description, not a measured TRIMIX comparison. A guard should not be sold to yourself as free extra performance, a guarantee against damage or permission to operate in unsuitable conditions.
Write down the question the accessory is supposed to answer. Is it a replacement for a damaged original part, a spare to carry, or a separately approved optional guard? Each leads to a different confirmation. For damage, establish whether adjacent components also need inspection before assuming that replacing the most visible piece restores the motor.
- Record the motor’s exact model and generation.
- Match the proposed spare’s part number and documented compatibility.
- List the supplied fasteners and any separately required original hardware.
- Keep optional guard and bumper decisions separate from the replacement propeller.
- Request the current official instructions and identify which work belongs with authorized support.
Keep purchasing advice separate from a repair procedure
Having the correct spare does not establish that a repair has been completed correctly. Use the manufacturer’s isolation, inspection and service instructions for the exact equipment; do not operate a motor to expose or inspect a moving propeller. Where the diagnosis or repair boundary is unclear, leave the equipment out of use and ask the supplier. This article does not prescribe a torque value, improvised substitute or on-water repair.
The TRIMIX SUP compatibility checklist covers the wider setup. For a prospective parts discussion, ask about availability and compatibility with the board, fin-box, thruster and adapter models and the precise spare required. There is no current public TRIMIX SUP-motor listing or confirmed spare-parts stock. An inquiry is a request for an answer, not a repair approval or an order.
