A pool’s reopening date and the latest useful arrival time answer different questions. Luxembourg City’s October notice schedules Bonnevoie Pool’s return to normal public use on Monday, October 26, after a competition reservation. The city also publishes separate reception, water-exit and equipment rules that matter when planning a visit.

What the October notice says

The October 22 city notice says the pool would be reserved for a sports competition on Sunday, October 25, and open to the public as usual on Monday, October 26. That is the city’s published arrangement. We have not independently observed the doors open or confirmed live admission availability.

The official facility page supplies the practical details: on Mondays the large pool’s listed hours are 08:00–20:30; the small pool has 12:00–14:00 and 15:30–20:30 periods. Reception closes one hour before pool closing, and swimmers must leave the water 30 minutes before the official closing time. Wednesday is a regular closed day. The page also prohibits swimming fins in all pools and says the small pool is unavailable to other patrons during aqua-fit and swimming classes.

Make an arrival plan from the right deadline

The reception rule changes how to read a late-evening timetable. A closing time printed beside a pool is not necessarily the latest time to arrive and buy admission. Our suggestion is to record reception closing and water-exit time beside the session, instead of leaving the whole plan attached to one end-of-day number.

Likewise, name the aquatic space you intend to use. The large and small pools have different Monday patterns. A visitor choosing a time for one cannot assume the other follows an identical schedule, especially when a class is occupying the smaller space.

Check equipment rules before packing

Bonnevoie’s published fin restriction is specific enough to affect a swim bag. It should be checked alongside the intended activity, rather than inferred from the presence of lanes or the fact that equipment was permitted at a different pool. This article reports the municipal venue’s rule; it does not describe a national ban on fins.

Keep the current venue page available when planning, because a normal timetable and a special-event notice serve complementary purposes. The notice explains the October interruption, while the facility page gives the ordinary operating details and visitor conditions.

Our earlier Hampstead Mixed Pond update offers a separate example of local entry information affecting a visit. Its arrangements apply to that London venue, while the details above concern Bonnevoie Pool in Luxembourg City.
