An electric SUP description can contain two different functions: moving the board through water and filling its inflatable hull with air. A motor purchase should not silently become a pump purchase in your comparison. Ask which functions belong to the exact board package before deciding which equipment can stay at home.
Look for an explicit inflation function
SipaBoards’ Allrounder Silver Electric page explicitly describes a self-inflating board with an integrated waterjet system. That is a named complete-board design. It does not establish that a motor attached to another paddleboard can inflate that board, nor that an external pump can connect to the motor.
The manufacturer’s Instruction Manual v2.1 also gives its compressor a separate section from drive operation. The useful purchasing distinction is that inflation has its own documented equipment and instructions. This older manual must be matched to the delivered generation; it is not automatically the operating manual for every Silver configuration shown online.
Write two lines in the quotation
| Function | Information to request |
|---|---|
| Inflating the hull | Named pump or integrated compressor; supported board and valve arrangement; included inflation accessories |
| Providing propulsion | Named motor, battery, control and supported mounting system |
| Keeping the package usable | Applicable manuals, replacement-accessory identifiers and service contact for each function |
If a seller answers only the propulsion line, keep the inflation line unresolved. A photograph of a motor beside an inflatable board is not documentation of a working inflation connection. Equally, an automatic inflation feature says nothing by itself about mechanical fit on a different hull.
Compare what the function changes for you
For a buyer who already owns a board and a suitable pump, the first question is whether any inflation equipment changes at all. For a buyer considering a complete integrated board, ask what happens when either function needs support: which component is inspected, which accessories travel with it, and whether the board and drive have separate identifiers.
Keep inflation-pressure limits and the precise setup sequence in the applicable manufacturer instructions. This guide does not supply a pressure setting, a valve adaptation or a substitute procedure. The buying decision is clearer when the quotation identifies both jobs and the documents supporting them. Neither self-inflation nor a retrofit motor proves that the resulting board is approved for your location or intended use.
Ask about your actual setup
Use the TRIMIX SUP compatibility checklist for the separate fitment questions. To ask about actual SUP thruster supply and documentation, provide your board, fin-box, motor and adapter models, your country and the question raised here. No SUP motor is currently listed in the public TRIMIX catalog. A support inquiry does not establish availability, compatibility or an order, and it does not automatically send an email.
