Two products can cover much of the face and still belong to different equipment systems. Before comparing a full-face snorkel mask with another mask, identify the exact model and its intended activity. A similar outline is not evidence that parts, instructions or underwater use limits transfer between them.
Start with the complete product identity
Decathlon’s UK Adult Easybreath surface-mask listing identifies product 8997138 and describes observation mainly from the surface. The same page distinguishes Easybreath, Easybreath+ and Easybreath 900. That distinction matters: a feature attributed to the 900 must not be assigned to the ordinary surface model simply because the family name is shared.
Write down the air connection
Make the first row of your comparison the actual arrangement shown in the manufacturer’s instructions: integrated snorkel, separate snorkel with a conventional mask, or a specifically documented compressed-gas system. PADI’s conventional-mask guide describes lenses, a sealing skirt around the eyes and nose, and an adjustable strap. A conventional mask’s appearance or a full-face shape does not establish a breathing-gas connection.
For every candidate, retain its product code, manual revision, stated activity, complete supplied parts and warnings. Ask the seller which document belongs to the offered item if a listing mixes photographs or names from several versions. Leave a missing answer as unconfirmed rather than selecting the most attractive specification from the family.
Check the session before the purchase
Tell the responsible snorkeling operator the precise model you intend to bring and ask about its equipment policy and instruction requirements. A product being advertised for snorkeling does not establish acceptance on a particular tour or suitability for every user and condition. Read all manufacturer warnings; this comparison does not replace them or provide breathing, descent or emergency instructions.
Do not attach a regulator, adapter or other air source to an integrated snorkel mask unless the complete combination is expressly documented for that purpose. An accessory connection that appears to fit is not evidence of a supported breathing system.
Prepare a category-specific inquiry
When asking TRIMIX about equipment, identify the intended activity and exact mask system. The buying and support guide explains the inquiry route. A request should say whether you mean ordinary surface snorkeling equipment or a specifically named connected-gas configuration. No example here establishes TRIMIX availability or cross-system compatibility.
Evidence note: Evergreen buying guide checked October 30, 2026. Both primary pages are undated. Manufacturer descriptions are not independent performance tests; no TRIMIX stock, universal fit or compatibility is established.
