India’s first Short Course Senior National Aquatic Championships is scheduled for October 25–28, 2026 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. As checked on October 27, that programme is still within its scheduled competition period. The useful starting point is the federation’s event hub, not an assumption that a complete final medal table is already available.
The pool length belongs with every result
The Swimming Federation of India circular, dated August 14, identifies a 25-metre pool at the Aquatic Complex, Veer Savarkar Sports Complex. It lists the swimming programme and describes heats and finals, with timed finals for the 800m and 1500m freestyle and relays. Those are event-specific published conditions. They should travel with any time you discuss, rather than being replaced by the broad label national swimming.
Use the live event page for the current document
The official championship hub lists start lists separately from result documents, including day-specific heat and final headings visible during our check. A start list identifies the planned field; it does not establish who finished a race or won a medal. A heat result and a final result answer different questions. Open the document matching the day, session and event before sharing a number.
Do not turn an ongoing meet into a final summary
The federation’s 2026 calendar also gives the October 25–28 dates. On October 27 we cannot treat the remaining scheduled period as already completed. Published files may be updated or supplemented as the meet continues. If you save a result, keep its title and the date you checked it so that someone else can identify the same stage of the competition.
Read qualification rules in their proper setting
The circular includes qualification and entry conditions and says entries are submitted through member units. Its stated entry deadline is October 15. That is a past entry deadline, not an invitation to register today. The original circular is also not a general rule for all Indian swimming events. Anyone considering a future meet should use that meet’s current federation and unit instructions rather than copying these arrangements.
Keep a compact viewing note
For each event you follow, record the date, event number or name, stroke, distance, course length and document type. Then add the source link. This makes it easier to revisit a performance without confusing a scheduled lane assignment with a completed result. We are not reproducing athlete lists, declaring unverified winners or independently ratifying records; the official documents remain the place to confirm those details.
Let equipment questions follow your own swimming
Watching a national meet can prompt a return to regular sessions, but it does not establish which goggles or other gear will fit you. Use TRIMIX’s practical equipment guides to organise questions, and ask about an actual item’s availability and instructions when you have a specific product in mind. Equipment inquiries are separate from federation entry, coaching or travel arrangements.
