A return window and a warranty answer different ownership questions. One may address an unwanted purchase in a specified condition; the other may address a qualifying defect. Before opening, installing or using a propulsion kit, read the actual seller’s current terms rather than assuming a general satisfaction claim permits an on-water trial.

Identify the seller and the policy

Bixpy’s direct-purchase shipping and returns policy, marked effective June 2026, separates unopened products from equipment already installed or put into service. It also says purchases from third-party sellers follow that seller’s policies. This is a useful commercial-policy example, not a statement that every seller uses the same rules.

Its separate limited-warranty page addresses qualifying materials or workmanship defects and requires an authorized claim process. The page also preserves applicable mandatory consumer rights. This guide summarizes the manufacturer’s published policy distinction; it does not decide a customer’s legal entitlement or replace local advice where a dispute exists.

Get the conditions before changing the product’s state

Make a pre-installation record with the seller name, policy link, date checked, order reference and the condition in which a return may be requested. Ask how opening, installing, submerging or modifying the equipment affects a change-of-mind request. Keep the answer attached to the exact kit, rather than borrowing terms from a different country store.

  • Who must authorize a return or service shipment?
  • Which time period applies, and from which event does it run?
  • What packaging and original components must be retained?
  • Which transport, handling or condition-related costs might apply?
  • What route applies if the supplied item is faulty rather than simply unwanted?

Use these questions to clarify missing terms, not to negotiate after making an unsupported installation. A warranty badge on a product card is too short to answer the complete process. Likewise, a customer review describing an easy return does not establish that the same terms apply to another seller or a used battery.

Keep fitment evidence with the purchase record

Save the board and adapter confirmation, the promised package contents, external label photographs and the seller’s relevant correspondence. These records describe what was requested and supplied without claiming a fault diagnosis. If a concern arises, ask the seller which observations it needs; do not dismantle sealed equipment or conduct an improvised test to create evidence.

Battery shipping needs separate instructions. Bixpy’s published policy directs owners to contact it before sending damaged or non-functioning lithium batteries. Do not treat an ordinary return address as approval to put such a battery into a parcel.

Use the TRIMIX SUP compatibility checklist for the broader setup record. To ask about SUP thruster availability and compatibility, provide the board, fin-box, motor and adapter models, your country and the question identified here. There is currently no public TRIMIX SUP-motor listing. An inquiry does not confirm stock, compatibility or an order. TRIMIX has not independently tested these configurations.
