A listing for an add-on paddleboard fin box can quote the base alone, a base with bonding material, or a package that also includes an adapter. If your board has no suitable center fin box, make the seller’s contents list the first thing you compare. A product photograph can illustrate a completed assembly even when the offer covers only one part of it.
Read the bonding material line
Bixpy’s AC-3MP-2402 listing identifies a plate-and-tape offer. Its AC-PLT-1001 listing identifies a flexible PVC plate for inflatable watercraft and expressly excludes adhesive. Write the bonding material on its own line in your comparison. Record whether the quotation includes it, excludes it or leaves it unspecified. For the flexible plate, Bixpy asks owners uncertain about their watercraft’s construction to consult the watercraft maker.
Those offers describe different products. Bixpy Canada’s May 12, 2026 guide presents a peel-and-bond design for flat surfaces and a separate glue-on type for inflatables. Obtain the applicable board-maker and mounting instructions before buying materials or changing the hull. The terms tape and glue describe the offers here and do not establish what will bond to an individual board.
Look for the adapter as a second purchase line
The plate-and-tape page refers to a provided sliding adapter in its description, while the explicit exclusion says that the Slide & Lock Fin Adapter is not included for that SKU. Ask for a written itemization of the version being offered. Keep the attached base and the removable adapter separate in that request. Ask which adapter and hardware the supplier expects you to have already, and compare the total quote only after those lines are resolved.
Keep the offer attached to the setup
Record the board model, model year, the absence or type of the current fin box, the drive version and the proposed mounting parts. Save the itemized quote with those details. The TRIMIX SUP compatibility checklist covers the wider setup. To prepare an inquiry about actual supply and compatibility, include that equipment record and ask which parts would be supplied. The TRIMIX public product catalog does not currently show a SUP motor. TRIMIX did not carry out bonding or load tests for this guide.
