A replacement inflation hose has two ends to match. Confirming that one end resembles the board’s valve does not confirm the connection at the pump body. Before ordering a SUP hose or adapter set, identify the pump generation, its hose connection and the board valve as separate interfaces.

A named hose is more precise than a brand name

Red’s Titan 2 hose page identifies a hose for its Titan 2 pump with a twin HR adaptor. That is a model-specific description. It is not a statement that every hose from the same brand fits an earlier pump or that every board valve accepts the connector.

Keep a photograph of the pump label and externally visible hose connections with the replacement inquiry. If the original hose is missing, ask the manufacturer which part number belongs to the pump. A similar tube diameter does not establish the shape of a bayonet, thread or sealing arrangement.

An adapter set solves a different boundary

The Red Pump Adaptor Set description says its Red adapter connects to the Halkey Roberts adapter at the end of a Titan hose. It names Boston and Small Boston among the included adapters. The set therefore describes an additional connection beyond the hose end; it does not replace the need to match the hose to the pump.

Write the chain in order: pump, hose, hose-end connector, any supported adapter and board valve. Ask the supplier to identify every required part for that chain. Do not turn an assortment of connector shapes into evidence that the pump is appropriate for every inflatable product.

Compare the purpose as well as the connection

A board valve connection and the board’s permitted inflation conditions are separate requirements. The Titan II design explanation also identifies its double-ended bayonet hose, reinforcing that a complete hose has a documented interface at each end. Use the actual pump and board instructions for permitted equipment and inflation; this article supplies no pressure setting or inflation procedure.

In particular, a SUP inflation pump belongs to a different equipment category from a high-pressure breathing-air pump. A shared word such as pump does not establish interchangeable use, suitable air quality or an approved connection. Keep the purchasing inquiry specific to inflatable-board equipment.

Order an identified connection chain

Ask for the exact replacement hose and any separately required valve adapter in the quotation. Leave a missing part number or uncertain interface unresolved before purchase. Do not trim a connector, improvise a seal or force a close-looking attachment to fit.

The TRIMIX buying guide explains how inquiries are handled. To ask about SUP inflation equipment, provide the board valve, pump model and generation, hose or adapter codes, photographs and country. No SUP inflation-pump supply or compatibility is confirmed by this guide.
