Smart Swim Goggles: Check Which Features Continue After the Trial

Buying smart swimming goggles can involve both a physical product and an ongoing software subscription. Before comparing offers, list the functions you want to keep after any introductory trial. A photograph of an in-goggle display cannot show which functions require a continuing payment.

Separate built-in functions from subscription access

FORM’s current Premium Features support page distinguishes its subscription features from the built-in functions available without a subscription. Its built-in list includes real-time activity tracking, pool, open-water and swim-spa use, in-app swim analysis, and SwimStraight, subject to the stated model exception.

The subscription list includes HeadCoach, in-goggle workouts, training plans and other named features. This is FORM’s description of access to its platform, not an independent assessment of training results. Other manufacturers and product generations can use different arrangements.

Write your own feature names in a short comparison: for example, displaying live metrics and following an imported workout are separate requests. Ask the supplier to identify the access category for each one rather than accepting a general answer that the goggles work without a subscription.

Read the activation condition before buying

The same support page states that Premium activation is required and that access to built-in features continues after the free trial. FORM’s separate purchase-without-subscription explanation says new users receive a Premium trial and must enter payment details to start it.

Those conditions belong in the ownership decision before purchase. Check the trial length, renewal terms and the current account-management instructions for the offer you are considering. This guide does not give a subscription price, assume all regional offers are identical, or claim that buying the hardware alone completes activation.

Keep the hardware generation in the same record

FORM specifically excludes some early Smart Swim 1 goggles from SwimStraight: its support page identifies serial numbers beginning J01. A software feature list therefore needs the actual hardware identity alongside it. This is particularly useful when considering older equipment or an offer that gives only a family name.

Request the model, relevant serial-prefix information, included access period and the applicable support links in writing. Keep account-specific or payment information out of public comments. Confirm uncertain features with the manufacturer before assigning them a value in your comparison.

Ask about an identified product

For a TRIMIX equipment question, read how an inquiry works, then ask about actual swimming-equipment availability. FORM documentation does not establish a TRIMIX listing or supply. TRIMIX has not tested the goggles or their tracking and coaching results.

Evidence and dates: Evergreen ownership guide checked November 6, 2026. Both official support pages are undated; this is not a new-feature announcement. By TRIMIX Sports.
