A promising SUP motor listing can still leave essential purchasing questions unanswered. Motor only, power kit and adapter bundle describe different scopes. Comparing their headline prices without first comparing the contents can produce a quotation for a setup you cannot yet assemble. Start with a parts list rather than assuming the largest photograph shows everything supplied.
Read the selected option’s contents
The distinction is visible in Bixpy’s K-1 product options: its motor-only list names the motor and mounting hardware, while the K-Power motor-kit list adds a control module, remote, kill switch and other listed components. This does not turn every component pictured elsewhere on the page into an included item. The selected variant and its written contents remain important.
Similarly, the Bixpy SUP Adapter Bundle lists three fin adapters and states that motors shown in its photographs are not included. The manufacturer’s separate Outboard Kit FAQ says its K-1 and Angler Pro kits do not include a mounting adapter. These examples illustrate three different boundaries: the propulsion unit, its power/control system and the connection to the board.
Compare a complete system, row by row
Make a simple worksheet with one column for each proposed setup. Use the supplier’s exact names and part numbers, then mark every row as included, separately required or not yet confirmed. Blank cells should stay visible until answered.
- Motor: exact generation and supplied mounting hardware.
- Power system: the specified battery or approved system configuration, its identity and the matching charging equipment.
- Controls: the compatible remote or controller, any required receiver/module, and the manufacturer’s specified stopping components.
- Board interface: exact adapter, retention hardware and any board-specific requirements confirmed by the supplier.
- Documentation: the instructions matching each selected component, plus the support and warranty arrangements for that actual purchase.
This is an inventory exercise, not permission to connect an unspecified battery, improvise wiring or substitute a visually similar mount. Where a system supports several power configurations, request the documentation and complete bill of materials for one clearly identified configuration. Do not combine fragments from different option lists into an assumed kit.
Turn the list into a clearer quotation
Ask the seller to return the same rows with quantities and product codes. Separately identify optional spares and accessories so that they do not obscure what is required for the proposed setup. For a second quotation, compare the completed rows before comparing the total. Shipping availability, battery transport and local use requirements also need their own confirmation.
The TRIMIX SUP compatibility checklist can help organize the board information. You can then request an availability and compatibility discussion using your itemized list and intended board model. TRIMIX has no current public SUP-motor listing; the inquiry prepares a question rather than confirming supply or an order. The buying guide explains the existing quotation process.
