A propulsion unit advertised for several water activities can still require a different collection of parts for each activity. Before choosing a system for both a paddleboard and handheld use, compare the documented configurations separately. A photograph of the main tube does not show whether the complete offer supports both arrangements.
Start with the exact product family
Aqua Marina’s BLUEDRIVE X page describes SUP, kayaking and underwater uses and distinguishes wristwatch-style control from a handheld control with a trigger. Those are the manufacturer’s descriptions of its X/X PRO system. They do not establish that another electric fin can be converted into a handheld device.
Preserve the model codes PF-240X and PF-240XP when asking about an offer. Do not combine a component list for one regional manual with an older product photograph. The activity label identifies a use to investigate; the matching instructions establish which supplied configuration the maker describes.
Compare the two component lists
The current manufacturer-hosted US-standard X/X PRO manual provides separate lists in sections 5.1 and 6.1. The SUP or kayak list includes a fin-box connector and locating pins. The handheld list instead identifies a handle bracket, left and right handles and a remote-control base. Both lists include control and power components; this short comparison is not the complete packing list.
That creates a useful quotation format: one column for the board configuration, another for the handheld configuration, and a shared-components column. Ask the seller to identify the included items, any separately required accessories and the exact document covering the offered regional version.
Give each configuration its own fit check
For the board side, identify the board, fin box and intended connector. For the handheld side, identify the supplied handle and control assemblies. An answer confirming the board attachment does not answer whether the handheld parts are included or whether that use suits the purchaser’s training and intended activity.
Likewise, an accessory described as a camera mount does not waterproof an attached camera. Keep propulsion configuration, camera protection and user requirements as separate questions. Do not infer an approved conversion from a similar rail or replace missing manufacturer parts with improvised hardware.
Choose the purchase around the uses you can confirm
If only one configuration is documented for the actual offer, compare it as that configuration. Leave the second use unconfirmed until its complete parts and instructions are established. This avoids paying for an assumed second system that the quotation never included.
The SUP compatibility checklist covers the separate board interface. To ask about actual propulsion availability and documentation, provide the board, fin-box, motor and adapter identities, your country and the configurations you are comparing. There is no current public TRIMIX SUP-motor listing; preparing an inquiry does not confirm supply or an order.
